Michael grew up in sunny Southern California’s San Fernando Valley. As a child, Michael began working at his family’s restaurant, where he quickly took over most aspects of running the business, including a stint as the chef.
Next, Michael entered the hotel world, and quickly rose to become the general manager of a prestigious hotel. His career soared, and he used that opportunity to learn everything he could about hotel operations, finance, development and leadership. He still asset manages over $100M in Hawaii hotels, and provides guidance on hotel development and oversight for a high net worth family based in Los Angeles.
With his hotel success, Michael invested in his first home. He quickly realized the upside in home ownership…and so began Michael’s home flipping business. He started as a licensed California Realtor and later became a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
Michael’s upbringing and life experiences accord him a unique perspective on home buying. His views properties through an investment lens: he always looks for value.
